The Access and Waiting Times Standard for Early Psychosis

Introduced in April 2016, this was the first Access mail order levitra and Waiting Times Standard to be introduced for mental health services in England.

THE STANDARD:  By 2021 60% of people experiencing a First Episode of Psychosis should be seen within 2 weeks of referral by a specialist mental health service able to provide them with NICE concordant care.

The New National Standard for EIP

This document is intended to provide support
to local commissioners and providers in
implementing the new EIP standard.

It has been coproduced by a wide range of experts,
including people with lived experience of
services, to set out what works and provide
a blueprint for localities to follow. It sets out
clearly how progress will be measured.

The Royal College of Psychiatrists’ College Centre for Quality Improvement (CCQI) has developed a comprehensive set of standards for Early Intervention in Psychosis teams, incorporating key standards on access, waiting cananda viagra times and NICE-recommended treatment. It aims to support commissioners and providers of mental health services to develop Early Intervention services to the standard necessary for full effectiveness.
