Minister Lisa Neville (Victoria, Aus) becomes
Meaningful Lives first patron
Dr Eóin Killackey reports back:
The declaration of the consensus statement was held on the second morning of the conference:
attached presentation
The Meaningful Lives Declaration was very well and warmly received.
The Victorian Minister for Mental Health responded to the declaration and acknowledged the importance of vocational recovery as a part of the process of recovery in mental illness, particularly in early mental illness.
After the declaration, Jo, Swaran, Henry Jackson, Patrick McGorry and myself met with the Minister Lisa Neville and had some very positive discussions and we welcomed her as the declaration's first patron.
Download the POSTER VERSION from which the poster was printed. Already Crystal Clark, an OT from Ottawa is printing this for their clinic. I think this is a great idea and of course we are happy for others to use this to promote vocational recovery in FEP.
Following the conference we have received endorsement from IEPA which is great.
